Cocktail Video – Italian Intrigue

I thought it was time to mix up some content here on the blog, offering something a little more visual for your viewing pleasure. This is a video I did for a competition a few months back. Turns out I was disqualified from the competition for not using any liquors from a particular family of brands (although they liked my cocktail), so I didn’t win. But I had a good time making the video and it’s a tasty sparkling cocktail.

The cocktail uses Ramazotti and Domaine de Canton as the base, with no stronger spirits. It’s a low-ish alcohol cocktail and has great depth for a sparkling cocktail. I’m a fan, hope you are too. Check the recipe below.

Italian Intrigue

1 oz Ramazotti

1 oz Domaine de Canton

0.5 oz Lime Juice

0.5 oz Lemon Juice

1 Dash Regans Orange Bitters

Sparkling Wine

Orange Peel for garnish

Combine all ingredients except for the sparkling wine. Shake to combine and strain into a champagne flute. Top with sparkling wine and garnish with an orange peel.

Tell me what you think.
