Cocktails with Maraschino

Luxardo MaraschinoOne of my favorite cocktail ingredients is Maraschino liqueur. There are two brands that I really enjoy – Lazzaroni and Luxardo. Maraschino liqueuer is slightly bitter and slightly sweet, packs a lot of flavor, and can be used in a variety of cocktails from an Aviation to a Hemingway Daiquiri. It’s extremely versatile, particularly when used in moderation and can provide a nice subtle change from your other sweeteners.

Below you’ll find a recipes for a few of my favorites that use maraschino.

Jay, you just gotta give it a shot! The key is, like everything else food and beverage related, high quality spirits and mixers. And it doesn’t hurt to measure 🙂

Tell me what you think.
